Do not go to the Zoo over UEA weekend -- even if your freind who has a season pass can get you in for free....but especially do not take two extra kids with you and think you will have everything under control.
Let me start by saying, I really wasn't the one who brought the two extra kids - it was my friend. She was babysitting for another good friend of ours who was having her baby that day. So two moms and 6 kids - we should be able to do that right? Please, some moms have 6 kids of their own. How can it be that hard?
We have new respect.
Let's just say, we lost one of the kids for a moment (ten moments maybe ...) It was a mad house, especially at the stupid play ground. Who designs such a play ground? There are 100+ kids in an "s" shaped play ground that has a million spots to run to (the pond, the train, the bat cave). Yes we were more than panicked. But we found the poor kid.
We know - we suck! Don't let us watch your kids and don't ever let me have six kids. Apparently I can't handle it.

I heard the zoo was crazy that weekend - ugh!! I lost my friend's little girl at Disneyland one time when we lived down there- It was the worst 30 seconds of my life I think...
